Located on the Shore in Leith Mimi’s offers relaxed and gentle surroundings where people of all ages sit, sip, nibble and chatter. The owners a wife and husband team have created a main stay in the Edinburgh foodie scene, especially for those who enjoy something fancy, something sweet, and good homemade portions of it.
Having eaten the Belly Busting Breakfast (and cake) we can confirm that Mimi’s serves one of the best breakfasts in Edinburgh, good regional produce, well cooked, nicely presented and a good portion. All of the food being served looked delicious, a menu that we will be back to work through.
This is an ideal spot for a coffee, breakfast, lunch, a slice of cake, afternoon tea, or a sweet party. The service was good, the surroundings calm and food that speaks louder than any words. Well worth a visit!
