City centre hide away serving good beer and great burgers in cosy surroundings.
The Cambridge Bar is not a fussy place, its got a simple bar, tables and chairs, a couple of leather sofas and a larger area to one side for ‘sitting at the table to eat’. There is a decent sized fire place for the winter months and black boards making choosing your drink or food easy.
The Cambridge has built a reputation for serving great burgers with a great range of topping from mushrooms, blue cheese and chili to mention a few. The chips they serve are chunky and will near to push your appitite to its limit. A small detail but they have real Hellman’s Mayonnaise and Heinz Tomato Sauce on the table (in bottles of course).
There is a good range of draught ales, lagers, some good wines and all the usual tipples you might expect to find at a well stocked bar. They do serve some of the more interesting ales from the locality which are well worth trying.
