Yocoko has a simple frontage, simple dining set up and great food at great prices.
Situated just over the bridges in Newington Yocoko noodle bar is a great addition to the range of eastern eateries on offer in this part of town. The Green Tea is FREE. The starters are all around five pounds and are generous to say the least, size and flavour. The main courses are a real plate full and differ mainly between ‘wet’ soup style noodles, ‘dry’ on the plate noodle dishes and fried rice.
The main courses range in price from £5-8 and offer great value for money, they are happy to serve tap water at no cost and the other drinks on the menu are not the usual eat out extortion. The service can vary from good to average and the dishes come out at different times which for us added to the authenticity. Its a place to eat eastern food, its cheap, it simple but its still very tasty. Yocoko’s website is testament to its simplicity, a menu online with contact details.
